Clean and very nice family run hotel. It almost feels like an B&B as they are so nice and accommodating. Old furniture and carpet. But again not living here, in and it is CLEAN!
Overall my stay was amazing! The rooms were very clean and spacious. The lady that works at the front was very helpful and sweet :) It really gave me a break from toronto as everything here truly shows what shakespeare is like. Very vibrant and cozy. The gentleman that works there offered to bring me to the town which was kind of him. Staying here really made me realize that there is so much i’ve been missing out on. My stay here felt pure and in a sense natural and i appreciate that they decided to keep that vibe going, away from the modern look people are trying to go for. i appreciate everything they have done for me and i will definitely be returning when i have the chance. I was a last minute booking and needed to check in hours early due to a very late flight and they were kindness itself, very accommodating. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, it was very quiet at night and the drive into Stratford for the theatre was easy. A great place at a great price.
This is a good, basic hotel. A little old fashioned (it still uses physical keys, and the carpet in the bedroom and the decor of the bathroom is a little dated), but it served our purposes quite nicely. The mini fridge in the room is greatly appreciated, and we had no trouble with the wifi, although there might have been a speed boost when I turned on my VPN (almost as though there was some interesting routing going on). We had a pleasant check-in and check-out. Breakfast was coffee and a pack of two cookies, so you'll want to either bring your own food or plan on going out for something more substantial.
We love this little budget in for its very clean rooms and ice cold air conditioning for our summer Stratford get aways. We love the staff!

The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, with large windows offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. You’ll find everything you need for a relaxing stay comfortable bedding and a calm atmosphere that invites you to unwind. The people running the place are very kind and welcoming—they helped with all my accommodations and their service was amazing throughout my stay. Surrounding the place was very beautiful and there were many small stores that my children loved. Although it’s not completely remote, there are many fun activities to do around the area. Overall, It’s an ideal place for anyone looking for a quiet, therapeutic stay.
We stayed at the Shakesphere Inn with our team for a ball tournament this past weekend and we were very happy. Room and facilities were spotless. The owners went out of their way to accommodate all our needs. Highly recommend and we booked back for another stay in a few months.
